When I write, I search out that place where the Spirit is most expressive. I call it my secret place (Psalm 91:1), and God’s word takes me there. My muse is His word and my writings are merely an outward expression of a sometimes painful, but always glorious work that He continues to perform in my life. Psalm 119:103 deliciously conveys, “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
